Just one year ago, Radio Stranger (aka Portland songwriters Kelly Brightwell and Woody Moran) held a fabulous street concert for many enthusiastic neighbors. Together with the support band (Jean-Pierre Garau on keys, Jeffrey Koch on electric guitar, and yours truly on da bass), it was a welcome boogie time after such a crazy summer of both Covid and western wildfires running amok, and heavy smoke in our area which cleared that week. And Kelly was saying farewell, bound for the Midwest. Her life path has changed, however, and she is back with us in Portland, so we are using this September occasion for another great show in West Linn, an anniversary concert of sorts.
